More About Coach Claire
I have worked with ages ranging from 3-17 in soccer group settings as well as individualized trainings specializing in goalkeeping. I have worked multiple University of Montana soccer camps as well as Maria Carrillo High School soccer camps. Typically I work with middle or high school ages one on one.
Four year starter at the University of Montana as a goalkeeper. Hold the Big Sky Conference record for shutouts in a career. Hold the Montana school record for shut outs, games started, minutes played and goals against average. 2020 Goalkeeper of the Year for the Big Sky. 2019 Second Team, 2018/17 Honorable Mention. 5 Time Defensive Player or the Week.
In my goalkeeping sessions I am very technique focused. Big saves come from small details. I begin with a warmup/ activation phase incorporating a lot or footwork. I then transition to one or two main ideas in the session and use a progression style approach. Typically I end with something competitive and game realistic.
