More About Coach Charles
He is a 20 year youth coaching veteran in Europe and the USA. He is a Coerver and USSF Licensed coach.
He currently owns and operates First Touch Academy in Bordentown NJ. He’s trained and coached numerous local youth team in New Jersey including the Bordentown Jaguars, taking a team composed of players with limited travel experience to the state cup championship and the EDP/USUS national league top flight.
He profess the fundamental concepts of Dutch Totaalvoetbal and positional play based training.
Charles is a product of both the French Youth System and the dutch school of total football methodology having Played in th French Domestic leagues.
Team sessions will last 90 minutes and will include a warm-up and review of prior concepts, with the remaining time spent on reinforcement of those ideas and introduction of new ones.
All sessions and activities will reinforce individual players skills from perception, decision making to technical execution.
All sessions are geared towards player development within the team environment. Technical footwork along with “brainwork” are intertwined so players understand the soccer context of when and how to use their new found set of skills.
