More About Coach Cesar
Most of the athletes I coach are at the high school and college level (highest level NCAA Div. 1), but I have also taken on athletes in the middle school/junior high level. 90% of my coaching is in soccer, but I have also taken on the role of HS JV lacrosse coach.
•Chronologically backward, I was the soccer captain for Marymount California University in Southern California (2017 NAIA 4th in the nation). In the off-season, the head coach had confidence enough in letting me design and lead training sessions for the team that involved passing theory and weight training focused on soccer techniques.
•At the same time I also played college lacrosse
•I also trained with the track team to improve sprint speed
•In HS (Bellarmine) cross-country
•HS soccer
•HS basketball
My focus will be on athletes that are serious about improving. There are many different session types I conduct beginning with an initial assessment session followed by an improvement plan that include the practice sessions, general nutrition plan, and very short YouTube videos to review skills covered and prepare for the next session. The following are technical skills that I specialize in: three different kinds of striking, agility, sprint speed, acceleration, crossing, through balls, passing, and in-game finesse skills.
Training sessions are composed of a warm-up, light exercise, med exercise, full exercise, and a warm-down. Eventually, once the athlete learns all the proper warm-ups, the athlete will warm-up 30 minutes before a session to maximize the content in one session.

Cesar was helpful in making me improve on some of my weak spots in my play. He’s easy to work with and provides useful information regarding soccer and improving my skills!
Looking forward to more training.

Coach Cesar is focused on understanding the goals of a player and developing a session plan to reach them. The coaching does not stop at the conclusion of a session as he has sent links to videos to detail a drill or skill to work on
during the week and recommended healthy eating habits and exercises to develop a young player looking to elevate their game and body as they get older.
