More About Coach Cece

I have a few years of volunteer coaching. My passion for the game is very strong. I am in college and was unable to play this semester and knew that if I wasn't around volleyball at all then I would drive myself crazy. I absolutely love the game and I could help out anyone who has questions . I don't have any paper certifications, but everything I do is from the heart. I'm the coach that a girl can come to if she needs anything, or if she needs someone to be with. Coaching isn't just about screaming and yelling at someone , it's about having patience and making sure that person understands what you're teaching them.

I played volleyball for 7 years . I am currently getting into a league . I played all four years in highschool, 2 years in club, and 1 year for a private college . My freshmen year in highschool I was the captain for my varisity team at Blake high school . That year and my sophomore year I won MVP. I play outside and serve recieve . Along with volleyball I played flag football and basketball . Sports are my way of just letting go of the real world and focusing on something else . It helps me get away and think about just me being on the court or field . My passion for the game is unexplainable and I would love to help someone better themselves at playing .

Well when I first meet my client, I will have a little intro with them , get to know them , ask them about the position they play and things of that nature. We would first begin with a simple warm up (high knees, butt kicks, lunges, etc.) I love to workout so most of the time I will workout with my client . As far as drills , a simple passing/bumping drill will do . With that , I like to include some diving drills maybe play a game . Makin sure the form is there and perfect . If I have a setter , we will definitely work on some setting drills , walking back and forth setting , laying down then getting up while setting , setting everything , quicks , 4's, backsetting , for my hitters , since I was a hitter I love hitting . Hitters will show me their form and I will make sure their approach is correct depending on which position they play . I like to have tennis balls to practice with so the client can work on their snapping . And then we will move to actually hitting the ball . At the end me and the client will do a cool down , and I will send them home with homework to do such as watching videos , practicing around the house . Eating healthy.
