More About Coach Casey
Coach for 7+ years. Training boys and girls from ages 5-21. I’ve worked at sports complex’s, but I mostly personally train athletes at local fields/parks.
I currently play professionally for North Carolina Courage.
Prior to the Courage, I played for Reign FC in the NWSL. I also played overseas in France for Montpellier HSC. I was named Goalkeeper of the year my first year in the French league, and I was the starting goalkeeper for the Champions League matches.
I was a student-athlete at Rutgers University and a 2X Big Ten GK of the year and 2X all-American.
To start, a proper warm-up with activation and stretching. Followed by strategically planned exercises that could involve hand/eye coordination drills, foot skills, crossing and shot-stopping reps, distribution exercises, positional awareness coaching, and tactical game development.
