More About Coach Carlin
Physical Education Teacher continuing my coaching through private lessons. I have coached for multiple school districts in Westchester County at the Middle School level. I also am the Head Coach for a Travel Softball Program. Primarily I coach children ages 7-14. I have done training sessions, coached travel teams, recreational teams, and tournaments.
I am certified by the New York State Education Department and I am also Nationally Certified through the National Federation of High Schools.

While I didn't play at the collegiate level, I instead spent my time outside of class coaching not only softball, but also volleyball, basketball, and soccer.
Depending upon specific client requests and player age and skill level, the session will vary. If the lesson is specifically for hitting or pitching it will vary, otherwise it will generally be well rounded and will be on a sliding scale based upon skill level and grow to understanding how to play the sport tactically.

Coach Carlin must have been a magician in a former life. She picked up on three major flaws in my delivery. Patiently, she worked with me, and after about 8 lessons, the flaws were entirely corrected. I went from being a decent pitcher to a dominating one within a few months. The people in my league want to know what the hell happened. I tell them I watched Youtube videos ;)
