Candi W.

Candi Workman is the founder and creator of Kinetic Choreography. She is a professional choreographer and dancer with over 15 years experience dancing, performing, choreographing and directing events. Miss Workman's career as a dancer and choreographer began at age seven. During her childhood she played many principal and supporting roles on stage and in dance. After high school, Candi continued her dance education at Point Park University and La Roche College. She trained in jazz, tap, ballet, folk, and various forms of modern dance. During her college training she taught dance in Pennsylvania and worked her way to becoming the USA-G Level 7-10 assistant gymnastics coach and head choreographer for the Pittsburgh Northstars. In 2003 she moved to Colorado and has worked as a choreographer, pre-team gymnastics director and gym manager. In 2012, Miss Workman opened In'Finite ArtSports, Inc. which houses Jump'In Gymnastics & Tumbling, Cheer'In Elite AllStars and Dance'In School of Dance. She is currently the Co-Head Coach of the Mississippi Rebounders Competitive Gymnastics team.

In the summers of 2007 and 2008 she was a dancer in Carnival du Fuego at Elitch Garden's in Denver, CO. Starting in 2006, she was a performer for Kevin Larson Presents and held the Entertainment Director position from 2007-2010. During the summer months, she is available for travel to universities and gymnastics clubs to choreograph floor and beam routines. Candi is also available for choreographing, dancing and directing events and would be happy to talk with you about your project. Aside from creating and directing events, choreographing and dancing, Candi loves movies and the theatre. In her free time she enjoys, hiking, trail running, snowboarding, working out and continuing her education.

From 2006-2011, she did the floor choreography for the University of Denver making her the longest running gymnastics choreographer for the NCAA Division I women’s team. In 2009 Candi composed and coached the gymnastics floor choreography for 2009 NCAA Regional Floor Champion and Venezuelan Olympian, Jessica Lopez. In 2011, the University of Denver approached her about becoming the DU meet director and she accepted. In her first season she directed the 2011 North Central Regional Championships with great success. Miss Workman has choreographed winning floor and beam routines for various private gymnastics clubs across the country including Colorado, Mississippi and Pennsylvania. In 2010 she choreographed the winning floor routine for the Level 7 CO State Champion. In 2009 she created the routines for the Level 9 Eastern National Floor Champion and the Level 10 JO National Floor Champion.

Candi's mission is to give the athlete a positive gymnastics choreography experience that will carry her in to a successful competitive season. Whether you are brand new to optional gymnastics or a seasoned Division I NCAA gymnast, working with Candi will move your floor and beam routines to the top of the podium. While performing an original floor or beam routine created by Kinetic Choreography you will become more confidant as you step on to the competitive floor.
