Brock has made a name for himself in Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. He has coached with the Skating Club of Oregon (SCORE), the Portland Ice Skating Club (PISC) and with the Hawaii Figure Skating Club (HFSC). He coaches skaters of all ages, from the beginning skater to senior-level skaters.
Brock began skating in Portland, OR and competed regionally. Throughout his skating career, he was trained by national, world, and Olympic coaches, including Dody Teachman, Sofia Inthalaksa, Ikaika Young, and Anthony Liu. After moving to Hawaii, Brock also began performing in local ice shows and even appeared on TV commercials.
He has passed his Novice Moves in the Field, Juvenile Free Skate, and Pre-Silver dance tests, and is actively working to finish his senior-level tests.
For your first lesson with Coach Brock, we will begin with a quick “Meet-and-Greet” session, where we will also check to see that your skates are fitted and laced properly. For the beginning skater, we will cover basic ice safety (including falling and recovery) before learning your first skills. By the end of your first lesson, you will feel confident moving forwards and backwards, stopping, and gliding.
For more advanced skaters, Coach Brock will begin by evaluating the skater and their goals before developing a skater-specific plan and moving on to specific technique and skills.

I have known Brock Huddleston for approximately 6 years. Our daughter Sofia has the distinguished honor of being Coach Brock’s very first first student. Coach Brock first came into my family’s life at an ice skating rink in Hawaii, we were introduced soon after my daughter started ice skating lessons.
