I am currently a assistant soccer coach for the boys soccer program at Northland Christian Academy in Kansas City, MO. I have coached there for four years and worked with boys aged 12-18 years old. Before coaching at Northland I coached a U10 boys team in Lawrence, KS. All around I have coached soccer for 8 years. The past four seasons at Northland my teams have won a Div. 2 state championship, 2 conference championships, and placed 2nd in the Div. 1 state championship.

I have played soccer since I was five years old. I played varsity soccer at Platte County High School from 1999-2002. During that time I earned All-Conference and All-District Honors. I then recieved a scholarship to play at Ottawa University. I competed collegiatly for four years at Ottawa winning a conference championship in 2004. After college I began my coaching career.

Each session I like to work on one specific skill. Usually the session will start with ball work individually to work on the specific skill slowly and build the atheletes confidence and form. Conditioning will be mix in between drills to keep the atheletes heart rate up. I will then introduce drills involving the specific drill that require movement. Lastly, the session ends with a game or fun drill that incorperates the specific skill into the overall game of soccer giving the athelete a understanding of how its used properly.
