Warm up begins with 5-10 minute light dynamic game of some sort in order to activate mental focus and allow the players to warm up, both physically and psychology while allowing creative play with the game at hand.
From there, dynamic stretching and functional movements are integrated in so we can be sure the individual properly warmed up throughout the entirety of the body.
Then, a brief summary of how the session is designed is explained to the participants and we move straight into technical training (footwork, dribbling, handling, etc)
Focus is on the quality of the quantity of the repetitions. A house is built from the ground up, and so are athletes.
After we’re finished with technical training, we now integrate game realistic situations which incorporate the techniques which were previously worked on in that same session (unless previously discussed otherwise)
This part of the training is again designed in a game like format, creating a competitive environment which demands the best of all participants.
Finishing up with static stretching and recovery preparation, and asking the athletes reflect on all aspects of their session.
