More About Coach Brett
I’ve been coaching soccer for over 10 years in camp, team, and individual settings. Current I serve as an assistant coach for the Fordham University men's program and was previously with the LIU-Brooklyn men's program as well as Whitman College (WA) men and women. I have experience with both recreational and competitive boys and girls from ages 5-18. On the club side, I’ve coached for Crossfire Premier (WA), one of the top youth clubs in the country, and was the Executive Director and Director of Coaching HYSA Arsenal in Helena, MT. I possess a USSF National ‘C’ license.
I was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Whitman College (WA) where I was a team Defensive MPV, team co-MPV, Northwest Conference Player of the Year, and winner of the Borleske Award (given to the top male athlete at Whitman).
I'll come ready with a set session plan unless you tell me otherwise or have some specific skills that you'd like to work on or specific activities that you'd like to do. Typically, my sessions will involve a light warm-up, some technical drills, and conclude with some functional activities to really highlight what we worked on and how it can play into a game scenario.
