More About Coach Brent
Over 10 Years of Coaching Experience with high school athletes, 2009 Three Rivers Coach of the Year, and over 16 years playing experience. I keep the game fun, all while helping to develop the players technique and tactical awareness. Position specific training as well as general technical or speed and agility training. I can tailor specific training sessions for each player and can come out and review their matches to make a training outline to help improve performance.
USSF D Licensed Coach, as well as National Soccer Coaches Association "Advanced National Diploma" licensed coach. Current Head Boys and Girls Soccer Coach at St. Pauls High School. Also, President of Elite Soccer Academy FC.
Over 16 years playing experience. High school playing experience in Lumberton, NC under Coach Kenny Simmons and have participated on many NCYSA soccer teams throughout the state from the 1990's until early 2000's. I have become more of a student and teacher of the game over time, but I still currently play as much as possible with the high school boys I've coached over the last 10 years.
Typical training session will include a 10 minute warm up, 20 minute individual technical training session or game, then tactical application of the technique. Sometimes we will have multiple players within a session to replicate pressure from an opponent to improve skill.
