More About Coach Brad

I have experience leading 1v1, small group, and team training sessions at every level from youth recreation to fully professional at the USL Championship level (2nd division below MLS).

Drafted 56th overall by Houston Dynamo in 2019 MLS Draft

5th year as professional soccer player
4 years in USL Championship (RGV FC, Oklahoma City Energy, Detroit City FC)
Currently playing for Charlotte Independence

Started every game at Wake Forest University (2015-18).
All American ‘18
4 time All-ACC
4 ACC Regular Season Championships
2 ACC Tournament Championships (‘16, ‘17.)
NCAA Tournament Finalist + All Tournament Team (‘16)
Winningest program (73-11-7) in D1 College soccer from 2015-18

I strive to put on a fun and challenging session that starts out with a warm up and some speed/agility work for the first ~10 minutes. Following that, my goal is to get my players as many quality touches on the ball as possible to make sure they’re becoming more comfortable with it at their feet. This means loads of dribbling, receiving, passing and shooting in a variety of match specific scenarios. I keep my athletes mentally engaged by making them react to visual or verbal cues. For example, I’ll raise a red cone that leads into a red dribbling sequence instead of the blue one that I could’ve raised instead.
