More About Coach Ben

Throughout my years I've played various sports, but my passion has always rested in soccer. Most recently I served as a coach for NOVA Soccer Academy located near Washignton D.C. I trained athletes in strength and conditioning as well as endurance, speed, agility from as age six to young adults. Previous to my time in DC, I coached with Robinson summer youth soccer camp. While there, I focused on developing players passing and receiving skills and attacking. Additionally, I've worked one-on-one with players from all ages through private lesson. During these time, I concentrated on the athletes' main challenges, which ranged in technical skills.

I competed at the college level at South Western Assembly God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, Texas. While there, I received the Most Improved Player Award (2013) and was champion of Southwestern Mission Association (SMA) Indoor World Cup Tournament (2015). I also played varsity soccer all four years of high school. My senior year I served as my team's captain and won the Most Valuable Player Award as well as most goals in a season award (both 2011).

As a coach I like to take the time to understand my player's strength and weaknesses. I conduct my training session based on the age and need of the athlete. Client can expect session to be fun but challenging. We will work on the technique of the game, developing skills in dribbling, shooting, crossing, and passing. Client feedback is important; therefore, we'll talk before and after the session to make sure you and your child are satisfied and enjoying the sport.
