With over six years of coaching experience and D and C soccer certifications from the USA Soccer Federation, I have successfully guided players ranging from four-year-olds to adults. Currently serving as the U11/U18 Head Coach at Surf Club, Walnut Creek, I have demonstrated versatility in coaching various age groups and skill levels. Additionally, I led Bancroft HS soccer as Head Coach, coached U6/U8 soccer at Glens Club, SF, and coached teams at Persepolis Academy and Esteghlal Academy in Tehran. My coaching tenure has been marked by numerous victories and accomplishments, including leading teams to success in prestigious tournaments such as the San Ramon Soccer Fest, Norcal Gold League Fall, and the Futsal League at Copa 2022. With a passion for developing players both on and off the field, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to every coaching opportunity.
I played soccer professionally for six years: four years at Tehran University from March 2010 to 2014, and two years at Parshan Soccer Club in the Professional League from June 2014 to 2016.
We typically begin our sessions with a warm-up routine, which can either be dynamic or static. To make it more fun, we sometimes include a ball in the warm-up. The type of warm-up we do depends on the particular area of soccer that needs improvement. For instance, if you need to work on your technique such as shooting, passing or dribbling, we will focus on technique drills. Our aim is to make the session enjoyable while also developing your skills. Finally, we end the session with a cool-down exercise, which can either be a stretch or a rhythmic exercise.

Our first session with Coach Behzad was great. I saw improvement in my son's abilities right away as he was working with him.
