Hi!!! My students know me as "Coach Shea". I started my career playing baseball when I was four years old. I later started playing softball when I turned 8 years old. I played with a local recreation dept until I was 11 years old; in which I began my career on a traveling team in the NFPA, "National Fastpitch Association". We traveled to many different cities and states throughout the country playing fastpitch softball at many different competition levels. I played "travel-ball" up until my senior year of high-school with a team formally known as the "Sharpsburg X-plosion". I signed a full scholarship to Columbus State University y junior year in high school but while in high school I earned the honors of being selected to the all-county and all-region teams each four years and the all-state team my senior year.. while a member of the varsity team. I aim to teach each athlete the basic fundamentals of softball that they can use to grow at any level they play on..offense and defense!!! I look forward to working with you!!!
Earned a spot on the All-County, All-Region, and All-State teams each year while in high school. Was awarded the most valuable player in three 5-A tournaments in high-school..
-Meet with the player and get a full understanding on the area in which they generally need work
-Learn the players weakness in the area
-The session will consist of various drills that pertain to the athletes area of weakness. The drill will be formatted to target the area that needs work and the player will learn the drill until a habit is formed and results will be recognized.
