More About Coach Antonio

I used to be a pro boxer that got injured in the Gym and I started helping fighters in the 2000s. We got 8 fighters in the finals in the golden gloves and my old coach told me to start coaching at the PAL's. And they closed down a few years later. For the past 3 years I went back to Elmcor Boxing Gym to coach some more fighters the gym is located in Queens. I typically work with any age group. Also I work with some pro fighters that visit the gym. I am certified by the USA Boxing industry as a coach.

I won the PAL tournament twice 1st time in 1997 and second time in 1999, I also won the METRO Championship in New York in 1999. I came out in the daily news in 1999 for beating the National amateur champion in the quarter finals of the Golden Gloves. I got my pro license in 2000 but then got injured sparring and could no longer compete.

A client can expect a hard work out session and will improve skill and they can also expect good workout for weight loss. I focus on footwork and technique. I usually start out a work out with a warm up and stretching, after that we hit the punching bags, after three rounds of hitting the bags we hit the pads for three rounds. Then we jump rope for two rounds, then we do abdominals and anarobics, and finally we go around the ring to cool down.
