More About Coach Andrew

After graduating 2011 from Liberty University with a degree in Sport Management, I spent my first summer traveling across the United States and parts of Brazil coaching young people ages 5-13 in soccer. From there, I became the Assistant Junior Varsity coach at Heritage High School, where we focused heavily on technique and positioning on the pitch. Afterwards, I moved to England for two years to work with young people in schools, communities and churches.

After staying in England and playing for a Second Division Futsal team, my wife and I moved to Brazil where we were involved in soccer coaching for 5 different projects in the city of Curitiba. We use the game of soccer to teach lifelong lessons that will carry into adulthood and beyond. Sport is a vehicle to empower individuals and create a chance for a better quality of life. Would you consider joining me in my venture of forming great players and even greater people?

I'm currently looking to work with young people from all ages 5 and up. My desire is to use modern technology and teaching to enhance the player's ability and provide an exciting experience for all involved. Video technology helps the player see exactly what they're doing, making it easier to correct and improve faster and more efficiently. Based on the coaching package selected, I will commit to attending games regularly (if scheduling conflicts aren't an issue) to support your player and provide provide feedback.

I currently have a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management as well as a National F license, and I am in the process of getting more certifications as time goes on.

I've played sports since I can remember. My passion for the game of soccer didn't begin until age 18 when I left for college. Until that point, I played every other sport. Soccer became a lifestyle for me. I played everyday. I joined Liberty University's Club team, which at the time was a student-led organization. I was heavily involved with Intramural Sports. When I moved to England, I joined a semi-professional Futsal team, Teesside Futsal Club. After one year in playing in the National Second Division, our club was promoted to the First Division.

Client Reviews

Coach Andrew was great! Very positive and helpful. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

(no details provided)

Coach Andrew was excellent with my son. He put him through the necessary drills he needs to improve his game and was good about correcting him and making sure he was doing things properly. He listened, watched, and corrected my son all along the session which is what I wanted to see happen. I highly recommend Coach Andrew and I will book more sessions with him right after this review in fact.

Andres enjoyed his first session very much, we look forward to the following ones

My son really enjoyed working with Andrew. He is very positive, and had very specific tips for my son to be working on. When leaving the field, he was ready to go home and practice some more! I would definitely recommend Coach Andrew for players who need a bit more positive encouragement!

We've had the pleasure of having Coach Andrew come and run the practices for my son's team for the past few weeks. The boys have absolutely loved having him there- he's energetic, full of new ideas, and knows how to motivate and challenge them. Since having him coach the team I've seen a great improvement in the boys' confidence on the ball as well as their ability to play more intelligently. I am definitely looking forward to scheduling some group sessions this summer with Coach Andrew!
