More About Coach Amy

I have almost 10 years of playing extremely competitive Women's Lacrosse. I continue to play and help organize an Adult League which practices with NCAA teams such as UC Berkeley and Stanford. I have coached one season for Rize Lacrosse Club in Redwood City with girls ages 10-18.

I have played Women's Lacrosse for 8 years, 4 years Varsity Lacrosse at Carondelet High School and 4 years Club Lacrosse at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. While playing for Cal Poly, we placed 2nd at Nationals in 2010. Most recently I joined the East Bay Women's Lacrosse Team and participated in scrimmages, practices, and tournaments with NCAA Women's players and teams.

I specialize in training in Defense, field movement, and ball skills. A typical session is very customizable to what your daughter's needs may be. Sessions will typically start with ball skills (throwing, catching, cradling, weak hand training, ground balls, etc) and then will move into field positioning and movement up/down the field, checking, and defense positioning. While I specialize in defense, I can also help your Attacker get some additional practice 1 on 1.

Awesome session, thank you!

Amy is an amazing coach with my 11-yr old girl - patient, fun, introduced her in a really nice way to lacrosse fundamentals. Coach Amy is the BEST!

Coach Amy was great! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Great for people starting out and more experienced lacrosse players.

Amy was great with my son! She got him ready for lacrosse try outs even though it was freezing outside. I definitely recommend her!

Amy is a very good teacher of the game. She hit it off with my daughter right away. Translates the principles well too.

Coach Amy is AWESOME! My kids really enjoyed their session with her. She's super knowledgeable and the kids loved working with her. She's great with experienced kids and beginners.
