More About Coach Alexis

I have been coaching gymnastics for 11 years. I have coached everywhere from preschool to USAG level 10. I have worked at Gymnastics ETC in Louisiana, National Elite, and I currently work at Moxie Gymnastics and cheer as a competitive coach.

I took Gymnastics all my life, but mostly did cheerleading competitions. My most memorable gymnastics accomplishment was my first year being a team coach and I had two state champions!

My sessions typically depend on the goals and experience of who I am coaching. I always open up with warm up and stretch, then do skill work. I end with conditioning workout because without the strength, it is hard to succeed in gymnastics.

Alexis is awesome. She helped my daughter prepare for middle school cheerleading tryouts. Gave her great tips to help her succeed. Very flexible with schedule and lesson locations. Highly recommend.

Coach Alexis was prompt in her response and went out of her way to schedule a last minute sesion with me. She is knowledgeable, hands on and very patient. I only wish I had found her sooner!

Alexis is helping my daughter with cheer tryouts for middle school. My daughter wanted to focus on her back handspring and Alexis has done just that. She is very knowledgable & has great drills & insight. She has given us things to work on at home to prep for for the private lesson with her. I have seen huge and fast progress. They work hard during the hour that they meet. My daughter likes working with Alexis and wants to continue even after tryouts are over. I think that says something! :)

Alexis has been a great match and coach for my daughter, in preparation for cheer tryouts at her high school. Alexis has been creative with the workouts and continues to come up with a variety of ways to achieve the goals needed. My daughter respects her and takes what Alexis says seriously.
