More About Coach Alex
I’ve coached 1-on-1 sessions For 8 Months working under Ex-MLS and USMNT Player Jason Moore. I’ve coached over 100 sessions over the course of these months, and have worked with a variety of ages, ranging from beginner, to college athletes.
I myself play in College Soccer at Gordon College, one of the top ranked NCAA Division 3 schools in the state, and I’ve also played Semi-Professionally in the UPSL. I also run @gogrindsoccer on Instagram and TikTok, amassing a following of 130K followers, where I share multiple free drills for my audience to use.
My sessions depend on what the player wants to work on, or what I feel like they need to work on from what I’ve seen. The beginning of the session usually starts with some technical work, whether it’s ball mastery, foundational work, or shooting technique, etc. Then as the session progresses, I build off that drill by making it more difficult, either by adding some external cues such as a command, a visual stimuli, or by adding other technical components to that drill to further challenge and develop the players technical ability. I also combine this with position specific drills that mimic situations the player can find in a match. This takes up the meat of the session, and at the end, I usually end with a quick technical game to end with some fun.

Client Reviews
Tara (CoachUp client)
My son is 10 years old and had less than a year on a soccer league. I was looking for a coach to advance his skills before the fall season starts. I was very lucky to have found Alex. Since the first lesson he has been professional, motivating, relatable and encouraging. He is 100% invested until the last minute of the session. I know there is a definite improvement in my son’s skill level as well as an increase in confidence. We have completed 5 sessions already. I don’t typically write reviews but have to praise a job well done here.
