I am a collage athlete I played at a Division 1 college and now in the process of finishing my final season at Cal state Dominguez Hills. I coached the year i took off. I was a head JV coach, and gave privet hitting and fielding lessons. My hitting instruction is inspired by one of the greatest hitters of all time Crystl Bustos. She is my hitting coach and taught me everything I know about hitting.
I went to bishop alemany high school, I was captain Jr and Senior yr. I was first team all conference all three years. I was in the Daily News All-Star game and was MVP received MVP.
Northern Illinois University: Earned 2nd-team All-MAC honors as a sophomore, and MAC All-Freshman Team honors as a frosh ... Started 97 of 109 total games in two years ... Belted 15 home runs, with 66 RBI and 152 total bases at NIU, also adding 24 multi-hit contests that included a 5RBI, 2HR effort against Miami (OH) (May 12, 2010), and another 5RBI effort at Colorado State (March 4, 2011).
2013: Enjoyed one of the most prolific offensive years in Toro history ... Earned 2nd-team Daktronics All-American and 2nd-team NFCA All-America honors in a banner debut year for the Toros ... Also earned a pair of 1st-team All-Region nods, and a 2nd-team All-CCAA honor ... Set school single-season records for at-bats, BA, SLG%, hits, home runs, and needs 9 home runs entering 2014 to set CSUDH career mark ... Led CCAA in hits, and finished 2nd in league in BA, runs, RBI, total bases and home runs ... Set CSUDH record for home runs in a season, including two bombs against UC San Diego (March 16) ... Enjoyed 26 multi-hit and 17 multi-RBI efforts ... Roped 5 hits against Simon Fraser, also driving in 6 (Feb 8) ... Also led team in every hitting category, including SLG% and OB%.
Depending on fielding and hitting I always like starting with the basic. The first session I will observe to see what you are capable of doing seeing what you need work on and will go from there.
Basic to college level drills
Soft hands, the range, coming threw the ball, throwing, setting feet, back hand, forehand ect.
Hitting the seven steps to hitting I have various hitting drills.
