More About Coach Nick

I have been a strength and conditioning/ track and field coach for 6 years now. I was introduced to the profession after college within a sports performance facility in Indianapolis Indiana. I spent 5 years within the facility, including managing it for 2 years, before moving to New Orleans to start my own sports performance business. I currently work with high school, college and professional athletes. My professional athletes come from the NBA, WNBA, MLB, NFL, and USATF. I currently hold certification within strength and conditioning that include a CSCS and FMS.

I competed in many sports as a high school athlete. I was a sprinter on my collegiate track team. I graduated as a 6 time conference champion and 3 time All-American in the 400 meter run.

As a coach I have worked with high school athletes that have gone on to achieve Varsity status on their high school team, break school records, compete at the state level, compete at the national level and even earn scholarships to Division 1 track programs.

A typical training session will last 90 minutes and will include a dynamic warm up, corrective exercises based on your evaluation, plyometrics (jump training), speed and agility training, as well as strength and power training.

I find Coach Nick to be a great coach for a couple of reasons. He has good communication about scheduling his training sessions. His training sessions do not just involve 'doing'...he explains the technicality of good form and technique to my daughter about sprinting. He is firm and patient with her during the sessions.

Nick was an amazing coach! He helped me isolate problems within my running (and walking) technique and helped me with exercises to strengthen weak muscles that had wreaking havoc on my body for years! I would recommend him to anyone looking to become a better sprinter!

Working with Nick has been a great experience. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the human body regarding training for performance, recovery, and injury prevention. Nick was key in the rehab process and the prevention of shoulder surgery during the 2014-2015 season after a contact injury during a game. Besides keeping me healthy during the season, Nick is in charge of all of my off-season training. He is great at keeping training fresh and using new technology to track my progress and performance throughout the program. I believe that Nick’s training has and will continue to keep my body healthy and in the best shape for each season.
I have had an unbelievable experience working with Nick. I came to him with an injury and did not think I would be able to run this season, let alone do a workout, but with his hands-on training I was back on the track within a month.
