More About Coach Paul

Paul has spent the past fourteen years training high school and middle school Quarterbacks. He is a certified Master Fitness Trainer ( MFT) and is the Owner and founder of Grid Iron Techniques. Paul has experience working and coaching Quarterbacks in conjunction with national recognized camps and combines such as ; Elite Camps and Combines , Nike SPARQ Combine, Nike Football Training Camp, and the Under Armour 360 program.  Several of the athletes that he has trained are playing division 1, 2 and 3 football. In addition to training, he has coached at the high school and collegiate level

Prior to pursuing his passion for training athletes , Paul attended Northeast Louisiana University where he played football. In addition, He served in the military where he played football in the German Football League.

My Quarterback Training is year around and implemented in phases to assure each quarterback achieves success. Each discipline is partly achieved before moving onto the next phase of training. Each phase enhances the student athlete's self-esteem, thus building his leadership ability as well. The phases are tailored to the level of the Quarterback. Each Quarterback will under go an assessment to determine their level. This consist of video analysis to evaluate his mechanics and verbal/written test to evaluate his mental knowledge as a Quarterback. A typical workout may consist of key fundamentals of a quarterback. The quarterback drills used will focus on warm up techniques, drops, pocket awareness, sprint out technique, and more. They will also hit on running game techniques such as “seating the ball”, hand off technique, toss technique, speed option, and more. The mental side will focus on defensive identification, reading and attacking coverages, Pre and Post snap reads, drills and techniques and character and leadership
