How did you decide to become a private coach?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a coach of a football team I started pulling players aside to work on things individually. Working with them one-on-one allowed me to get down to the nitty-gritty details and fundamentals of their position and tactics. This focus naturally led me into private coaching<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I really enjoy watching the kids succeed to become better players. Seeing their improvement over time is very rewarding. I also like providing an environment for kids to enjoy the game and enjoy getting better. You often see players who have fun but don\u2019t get better or see players who improve but aren\u2019t having fun; I enjoy helping them develop as players and as people and making sure they are enjoying themselves.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If every time you entered a room your theme song played, what would it be and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would have to say \u201cLose Yourself\u201d by Eminem. The song is really about the current moment and losing yourself in that moment and time. It sends the message to take advantage of and seize the moment and opportunity that you have. I apply it to everything I do and want to do in life.<\/p>\n

What can a client expect from private lessons with you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A client can expect that every football training<\/a> session they will be pushed hard. I come to each session with the same amount of high energy, and I expect high energy and effort from them as well. I always give my clients my full attention which will translate into a better fundamentally sound player. I run them hard and maximize the session- an hour of training is literally an hour of training. I\u2019m a \u201cgo go go!\u201d type of coach and they will see improvements quickly.<\/p>\n

Who is your favorite coach and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My JV basketball coach. Out of all the coaches I have had, I respected him the most. Put simply, I liked his coaching style: he was about respect and integrity. For him, coaching wasn\u2019t just about the game, rather, he turned coaching into a way to teach life lessons and help his athletes grow as a person. He also wasn\u2019t about winning every game. A coach that coaches with a \u201cwin at all costs\u201d perspective allows for character flaws in themselves and by extension their players as well. He instilled a hard work mentality and the importance of good character in me that I appreciate to this day.<\/p>\n
