Dobbs took matters a step further &#8212; even on a family vacation to Los Angeles. Tennessee&#8217;s rising sophomore quarterback, who started the Vols&#8217; final four games, reached out to longtime quarterbacks coach Quincy Avery to put in work.\u201cI&#8217;ve been working with Josh since he was in high school at Alpharetta,&#8221; said Avery, a former UCLA assistant coach who has worked with the Elite 11 quarterback series and emerged as a top private instructor in the Atlanta area. &#8220;We fostered our relationship through then and I&#8217;ve worked as his quarterback instructor for three-and-a-half, four years now. I&#8217;ve gotten a chance to help Josh grow and develop into the player he is today, and the thing about Josh is that he&#8217;s always working to improve.&#8221;&#8221;We did a lot of things like throwing on the run, being able to throw on the run and come back to his platform and make throws,&#8221; Avery explained. &#8220;Worked a lot of red-zone action, make sure Josh focuses on his ability to keep the ball high and make correct throws in the red zone. We worked a lot of different scenarios working eyes and feet together in order to make correct throws.&#8221;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp; Congrats to Coach Quincy on the recognition for all the great work he does with his clients.
