{"id":1620,"date":"2014-06-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-06-23T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webinology.website\/nation2021\/important-update-to-booking-requests\/"},"modified":"2021-11-03T12:55:05","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T16:55:05","slug":"important-uptdate-to-booking-requests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.coachup.com\/nation\/articles\/important-uptdate-to-booking-requests","title":{"rendered":"Important Update to Booking Requests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">Making your coaching business easier to manage is our top priority at CoachUp. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" data-mce-style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">That\u2019s why we introduced &#8220;Booking Requests&#8221; which allow you to accept or decline new coaching opportunities.<\/span>&nbsp;As of September 4th, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" data-mce-style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">you now have 24 hours to accept or decline the request<\/span>, as opposed to the 48 hours we previously allowed for.&nbsp;Remember, Booking Requests only apply when you, the coach, are booked for the first time by a new client and&nbsp;does not apply to existing clients, who are still able to book sessions directly.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">1. You will be notified, both in your <a title=\"CoachUp dashboard\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coachup.com\/dashboards\" target=\"_blank\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.coachup.com\/dashboards\" rel=\"noopener\">dashboard<\/a> and via email that a new client has requested to book you as their coach for one or more sessions.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">2. Double-check the dates and ask more questions if you need to. You will have <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" data-mce-style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">24 hours<\/span> to either accept or decline this request before it expires.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">Respond to a booking request by clicking the Accept or Decline button in the email or from your CoachUp dashboard.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">Your dashboard will show you the time you have remaining before the request expires.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">It&#8217;s up to you what booking requests you accept or decline. If you decline many or most of the requests you get, however, your placement in our search results may be negatively impacted.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/d3j2bju5c7tc02.cloudfront.net\/2016_45\/201406Screen-Shot-2014-06-25-at-11.00.47-AM.png\" alt=\"Booking Requests\" width=\"600\" height=\"491\" data-mce-src=\"http:\/\/d3j2bju5c7tc02.cloudfront.net\/2016_45\/201406Screen-Shot-2014-06-25-at-11.00.47-AM.png\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" data-mce-style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you accept the request:<\/span> Your client\u2019s credit card will be charged and you will receive an email containing your client&#8217;s phone number and officially confirming the details of the booking. At this point, you will need to schedule the training sessions with your client directly. Be mindful that your client will be eager to get a session scheduled once the booking is confirmed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" data-mce-style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you decline the request:<\/span> Your part is done. If you visit your <a title=\"CoachUp Inbox\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coachup.com\/inbox\" target=\"_blank\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.coachup.com\/inbox\" rel=\"noopener\">Inbox<\/a> (on the website or the mobile app), you&#8217;ll be able to message the client and let them know that you&#8217;re interested in the opportunity to train with them. If they submit a new booking request, you&#8217;ll be able to accept that request.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>What happens if I don\u2019t respond in 24 hours?<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\" data-mce-style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;\">We\u2019re relying on your commitment as a CoachUp Coach to follow up in a timely manner. We hope that you&#8217;ll do your part in providing a great experience for the client by either accepting or declining new requests within 24 hours.
