If not addressed, these obstacles can cause inconsistent performance, repeated failures, and even damage the long-term development of an athlete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Game day performance can be negatively impacted by these 3 things<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Distractions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many things that can distract an athlete on game day. Most of which are beyond their control. These include, but are not limited to, their position on the court, playing time, the opponent, fans, parents expectations, peer pressure, and fatigue. If any one of these distractions are present, they can affect performance. Imagine the detriment of multiple distractions at once. That makes it hard for anyone to play well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The solution<\/strong>: <em>Discipline<\/em>. Control what you can control.
