More About Coach Wondi

Instagram page @unitysoccertraining. I am a semi-pro soccer player with 20 years of experience playing amongst the best upcoming players in the Portland area as well as professionally. I have been coaching soccer for five years and I've coached all types of age groups, anywhere from age six through the mid-20s. I worked for ADF a few years ago and recently coached the 06 boys for Saints. I am currently coaching an adult team that is getting ready for tournaments around the States.

I have received many trophies from top scorer to mvp awards. I received THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD recording 14goals and 7assists in an NAIA for Cascade college in 2008. In 2009, I got the opportunity to play for a semi pro team Cascade Surge down in Salem for the summer. In 2019, I received OSFNA coach of the year award for an annual summer tournament In Minnesota leading a team from Portland to winning their first title since 1996. I am currently playing for IPS(international Portland Select) while completing my coaching licenses.

Begin with warm up drills including speed and agility. The work out plan varies from the beginning stages to pro level. The main goal is to constantly find new ways to build a relationship with the ball so that players are able to stay in play with or without the ball.

Client Reviews

After winning a championship last year, one of my recruit for the tournament confessed to “believe in training” because as a coach my job was to make sure everyone is included in every play whether you’re on or off the field.
