Whitney T.

I worked as a coach for Springport Public Schools in Springport, Michigan for the 2014 - 2015 season. I was the head coach for the seventh grade girls team, coaching my team to an undefeated season. I also assisted both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, coordinating practices for over 40 athletes. Coaching those teams has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I loved improving each player’s skill and drive while maintaining a fun, positive environment. I've coached ages 11 to 18, with the most experience coaching ages 11 to 13.

I've been competing since age 10. My junior year of high school, I was all-state honorable mention. I was an AAU all-American, and a Division I collegiate athlete and team captain at Boston University on a full athletic scholarship.

In a typical session with me, I start by determining the strengths and weaknesses of the client's game by honing in on the fundamentals and work to develop a plan to build on the strengths and strengthen the weaknesses. After warming up, my clients can expect to work on shooting form, defense, dribbling and incorporating that fluidly into their game. I also help clients develop plans to work on their game outside of our sessions.
