More About Coach Walter

I am a nationally certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I have trained/coached clients for the past 11 years from a variety of ages, social backgrounds, physical abilities, fitness levels and gender. I've worked for one AA University, Junior College, Dallas Cowboys Organization (Cowboys Fit), Community Hospital (Fitness Pointe), online professional PT training and Anytime Fitness. I've worked with athletes from ages 12 to 72. No matter who you are, I believe anyone, barring specific circumstances, can transform into the athlete he or she desires and works for most.

I was a transformation athlete for Iovate Health and Sciences in Toronto, CN. I was signed to a year contract with Muscle Tech as a fitness model and representative across the US. I was also featured with other Iovate athletes in the 2008 March issue of Oxygen Magazine as a representative of TrimForm Weightloss thermogenic.

Strength and Conditioning Session - We begin with a dynamic warm (walking, jump roping, jogging and dynamic stretching) no more than 8 minutes. As a first time athlete training with me, I believe the best way to stimulate the CNS for growth is through the legs. It is the largest muscle in the body and delivers the greatest production of testosterone specifically when performing squats and other similar movements. My goal is to know intimately your muscle strengths and weakness, imbalances, anaerobic threshold, form, technique and mental fortitude. Hip placement and drive, knee placement, flat feet, straight lumbar, neutral spine are several of the most critical elements I assess always but especially during our initial session. How you perform your strength and conditioning exercises, bio-mechanically, will inherently determine how you perform in whatever sport you may play. It is my first priority to train/coach the body for preventative measures before anything else. Keep yourself safe.
