More About Coach Vince

I've worked 10 years as a performance counselor and 4 years as a mental skills trainer. I've worked with individuals ranging from grade school to working adults. In the past, I served as a mental trainer for the Philadelphia Jaguars men's basketball team, as well as several athletes in basketball, baseball, tennis, boxing, and track & field. I work with individuals from all age groups and backgrounds. I hold a M.S in Sports Psychology and am currently enrolled in school to obtain a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. I am a member of the Association for Applied Sports Psychology.

I played 4 years of high school basketball at G.A.M.P high school and 1 year at Temple University but due to an injury, my career was cut short. I also played 1 year of varsity tennis, where I set a record for aces in a single game (12). I've won several Most Improved Awards, 3 Team MVP's, 1 Holiday Tournament MVP, and I currently hold the basketball team record for the most rebounds in a single game (18).

When working with clients, the objective is to achieve maximum mental performance and mental toughness. In sports today, attention is now on the mentality and mindset of the athlete. When working with a client, I incorporate various mental exercises and techniques to build mental strength, develop positive work habits, control emotions, develop self-awareness, build confidence, and the ability to self-motivate when in a slump. Sessions are 1-on-1 and can be done in person, as well as online.
