Trey Plilofr

I am 26 years old and have been observing others play the game of golf for ten years. Always watching others swing and yearning to intrude to make improvements. I have no certifications in teaching, as I switched my career choice in late high school to the Turf industry... leading me to obtain a certification in Golf Course Management and become a Superintendent. What I do have, though, is experience. I taught children of all ages at a golf summer camp all four years of my high school experience. I then went on to obtain a Greenskeeping job at what was the school's home course, and I became the High School Golf Coach for two seasons. I have since left the area, and now my time teaching is spent only on Sunday nights with local club members at my new track.

In high school I played on the Varsity golf squad for all four years, being captain for two of them. I received an All-Conference award two seasons. I attended one year of Junior College, and our team was 2011 Maryland State Junior College Golf Champions. I then attended the University of Maryland and played Collegiate Club Golf, where I was team captain for my senior seasons. Our team qualified for the NCGAA Nationals three out of my six years.

The goal of my sessions is to obtain the most out of our time spent together that we can. It is difficult to capture everything you are looking for in one scheduled window of time, but my personable approach and laid-back perspective on the game will make lessons feel more involved and worth-while. In golf, you can absolutely break the game down into many separate aspects or categories. If you struggle with one, we can focus on just that. If you want to learn them all, I can get you there. I am a very patient instructor.
