With over 39years of experience as an active and competitive athlete in diverse sports, I bring unparalleled enthusiasm and energy to every workout. Over my athletic career, I have served as an instructor/coach for athletic camps including swimming, track, wrestling, baseball and boxing. Currently, I am training a diverse group including athletes, elderly, and the disabled in conditioning, strengthening, and rehabilitation programs. I run boxing workouts that are focused on individual needs and ranging from beginner to aspiring pro.

I started competing on high school varsity sports as a 7th grader in Cross Country, Wrestling and Track earning various state and national recognition and awards. Throughout college I earned conference recognition. After college, I continued running and started boxing in various exhibitions and continue to do so today.

My passion for boxing is absolutely contagious and I love motivating clients of all abilities through fun and creative workouts improving their balance, coordination, agility, speed and athletic confidence.

Coach Tom was amazing. My first session boxing and strength training with him fabulous. We started with activating hip flexers and mobility and then got right to work learning stance, punches, and technique. He was super friendly, very organized, and I got in a great workout. My first session with Coach Tom was exactly what I was looking for. After a brief discovery discussion, we came up with the first part of our customized training plan that encompassed diet, posture/form, stretching, strength/conditioning and boxing training. We then moved on to the actual personal training and immediately I knew that I was going to benefit a lot from Coach Tom’s consultative and multi-dimensional style of coaching, his knowledge of the nuances of boxing technique, as well as his accuracy in establishing just the right level of intensity for our workout. Coach Tom is particularly good at isolating specific areas of focus so you can have a targeted training designed to improve on particular aspects of your fitness. He is an awesome coach - clearly knowledgeable, charismatic and fun. I am planning on working with Coach Tom for the foreseeable future and I highly recommend him to people of all ages and levels of fitness.

Amazing coach, really knows what he is doing. Takes good care to keep your individual goals and moods the workout around them. Highly recommend!

Tom was great. He was communicative all the way up through our meeting, with a confirmation text, and when I had trouble getting into the venue he was there to respond and help me out as well. Really nice guy who knows his stuff - and he did an excellent job working through the most basic fundamentals all the way up to some more advanced advice.
And if there were things I was having trouble grasping or doing, he showed me modified approaches to build confidence. He also asked a lot of questions about which other sports I played/ was familiar with, and had some excellent analogies to help me grasp certain body movements and principles.
Overall great coach, nice guy, would definitely consider booking again and would highly recommend.

Excellent Coach!

As a student looking to learn boxing, I can tell you that after one session with Coach Tom, it is clear that he is an individual with high intelligence. He used great sport analogies to help me with my boxing form; he was very enthusiastic from the start and I had a great time. I just booked four more sessions because Coach Tom was that good! Looking forward to my next session!

Tom was amazing. The session went perfect. He had a great attitude and really helped change my game.

I started to work with Tom in January this year. We were mostly focusing on boxing Technics. He really knows boxing but most important he knows how to teach to you.
He spends time trying to find the best way to teach you, using your sport background for example or referring to something you know. He is then able to customize the training and work with you on specifics.
I would definitely recommend Tom to anyone, he was elected best boxing coach on coachup.com and there are reasons for that.

Tom is a hell of a coach. He forces me to get out of my safe zone to become a better fighter and a better athlete. He's not the one who would babysit you or would do whatever it takes to get a nice impression. He's focused on me reaching my goals and that what matters. It takes me about an hour to get to the gym where he trains people, but there's no chance I switch him for anybody else. Because now I feel like my goals are reachable and I can do things I wouldn't even think I can do.
