More About Coach Tim

I am 39 and have been playing baseball for the past 30+ years. My background includes many state championships as a pitcher and outfielder. I have coached high school, college and some town ball. I have been player of the year, gold glove, defensive player of the year, MVP and comeback player of the year and

I specifically love working with kids of all ages. My goal is to teach them as much as I can in the shortest period of time. My style is hands on, fast pace and exciting. I cover pitching, fielding, throwing, catching, outfield, infield, base running, tips and tricks not to mention my favorite part of baseball when the ball player is ready is psychology. Pitching and defense is my expertise.

I have been playing town ball for the past 18 years. I have dominated for the majority of the time. I was known as a power pitcher and now more like a Greg Maddux, can't throw as hard but have become a knuckleball pitcher.

My sessions start with a evaluation, warm up, stretches (new ones) video taped, drills, and throwing.

I would say I specialize in any kid that loves to play baseball that wants to become better quickly.

All the way through high school as a defensive standout in the outfield and known a solid pitcher. I started pitching in high school, then college, and now for the past 16 years I pitched town ball and 35. I have 7 State championships and played on amazing teams!

Coaching in the past two years I have worked with athletes to gain baseball scholarships as late as 2012. I coached high school baseball and my first year had 19 players on the team, turned 16 of them into pitchers, took an outfielder who couldn't catch fly balls and turned him into an All Star Catcher. We lost only three games! Congratulations to them!. Two years later I coach them as JV's and 3 players received scholarships to play baseball in college.

I have been hired to run camps, specialized team practices, coaching clinics, and in the season summer baseball consultant.

The most important baseball lesson is to transfer my knowledge as quickly as possible to the player with in their ability to perform and teach the task back to me. I do this so you can save money while enjoying the prospect of your son or daughter on the field.

My lessons will go through: warm-up, stretches, catch, drills, short toss, long toss, catching, fielding, throwing mechanics, covering first base second base third base, backing up throws, pick off's first second third, pitcher catcher signs, fielder signs, throwing mechanics, pregame warm-up, psychology of pitching, mental game picture versus batter, setting up the hitter, work on pitching mechanics, velocity, control, placement, how to handle the umpires, the coaches, other teams coaches, the fans, specific drills to get better when we're not together. And one other secret during your season!

Now obviously not all of this is covered in one session. By the time you're done putting the confidence in me as your private professional coach, we will make sure we touch base on all of it.

I know I focus mostly on pitching but what I find to become a great pitcher you need to throw the ball with great mechanics. I love teaching defensive skills. Lessons can be videotaped for analysis with your permission.

Client Reviews

Tim is an enthusiastic coach and taught my son a lot of great defensive skills in their very first session. We will definitely schedule future sessions with Tim!

Coach Tim was great with Hunter. Hunter had a game the evening after Tim worked with him. Hunter had 2 line drives, and a great hit ti left field Which is much better than he has been doing. Hunter also practiced the base stealing skills Tim taught him and had great success.
Thank you Coach Tim!

We enjoyed our time with Coach Tim. He is good with kids and kept it moving with different drills. Some of the drills were different from what we've seen in the past. We look forward to our next session with Coach Tim

Great guy who can relate and get through to my son on the mental side of baseball, which is just as important to a pitcher as the physical side. I will recommend Tim to anyone!

Coach Tim was great. After only one session with him, we noticed a big improvement in our son's throwing speed/accuracy, and defense skills. Thanks, Coach Tim!

Coach Tim is great. He worked with our 12 year old on hitting and really helped him build his confidence. He also gave my son a few tangible tips that he took home with and practiced. The results were great. Our boy hit a double and two singles in the later games!

Tim was a great coach. He has a lot of knowledge and I'm confident my son can learn alot from him.

Coach Tim is a great Coach - his knowledge, ability to create drills, break down the skills and teach are awesome. He makes it fun and motivating. I wish i could schedule twice a week! But his schedule is not conducive for regularity or even to scheduling a week in advance.

Brady enjoyed himself. He was smiling after, so I know he's happy with the session.

Coach Tim did a great job! Gus learned some smart new plays and enjoyed working with him.

Coach Tim was personable, knowledgable and provided a lesson that included skills that our son had never been taught in 13 years of baseball! We look foward to more time with Coach Tim!

My son really enjoyed working with Coach Tim. I could see the excitement in his eyes when Coach was explaining the best ways to pick off runners. He learned a lot.

Tim Brown is a good coach. He is very positive in his coaching techniques. He is very knowledgable with pitching mechanics that has proved to be very helpful. He has built lots of confidence with Parker.

Tim really knows his stuff. He showed my son a lot of things that he can be working on now as a younger player that will help develop him for the future. We will definitely be seeing him again.
