I'm a former NCAA soccer player with ample experience teaching kids. I think sports training should be challenging, but fun, and the athlete should always leave wanting more. View all coaching experience

More About Coach Tarah

I first stepped into the coaching world while in high school, where I assisted my private coach with running practices and camps for younger athletes on my off days. I played NCAA DIII collegiate soccer as a goalkeeper, and in the off-season, I worked as the goalkeeper coach for a local high school girl's team. Also while in college, I worked with Special Olympics Indiana as a volunteer coach for a team of athletes in various events, helping them to develop athletic and social skills, as well as self-confidence.

I've worked with both male and female athletes, with ages ranging from 8-20.

Outside of soccer, I am currently in pursuit of the ACE certification, specializing in group fitness.

Playing Experience:
• Club Level - Palm Beach International Soccer Club, Royal Palm Beach Soccer, and Wellington Wave Soccer Club
• 4 Year High School Soccer Player
• NCAA DIII Women's Soccer Player

I create personal relationships with everyone I train. I think one of the biggest benefits of 1-on-1 training is the mentor/mentoree relationship that develops. I strive to help build up the confidence, both on and off the field, of every athlete who I encounter. I also strive to instill strong work ethic and commitment within each athlete.

Each client will have a different experience. I think training should be very individualized, and that's where a client will get the most out of a session. After an initial assessment of the client's starting abilities and discussion of their goals, I create an action plan and timeline for how we will get there. Workouts are be a combination of technical skill and conditioning, focusing on capitalizing on a client's strengths, while helping to develop their weaknesses.

I like to add variety to training sessions, to keep athletes engaged and always challenged.
