More About Coach Steven

Former U.S. Marine, NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. American College of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. I have coached at Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, McKendree University, and multiple high school across Chicago. I'm currently a sports scientist and spend most of my time working with professional and high level college athletes. Strength and conditioning & speed and agility in all sports (field or court). I also do personal training for the general population's health and fitness goals.

My training philosophy is simple, "Goal oriented, results driven". We sit down and write down your goals and based on those goals I created a program (based off proven science and research, not trends and fads) tailored to achieve those results in a realistic and safe time frame.

In most non-professional athletes (youth, high school, college) at some point and time a preventable soft-tissue injury occurs from either overuse in the sport under not training enough outside of the sport. My goal is to help reduce fatigue and injury rates, increase athletic ability, and overall fitness workload capacity.
