More About Coach Stephan

I have held several officer positions in several Running/fitness clubs throughout the country and help establish running programs for different communities as well as individual fitness training plans for many individuals helping them reach their goals and sustain positive results. My biggest accomplishment in this field has lead me into the passion of attaining my BA degree and managing a Sports & Recreation program for a few years.

As a certified Level 1 Road Runners Club of America Coach/Race Director; certified Level 1 USA Track and Field Coach; ISSA certified Fitness Trainer/Exercise Therapist; ACE certified Youth Fitness Specialist; NASM certified MMA Conditioning Specialist; CYSA certified Youth Sports Administrator, and NFHS accredited Interscholastic Coach; and Level I Diabetes Educator to name a few. I bring to this journey roughly over 30 years of personal running experience, 12 years of fitness education and about 25 years of running competition during High school, collegiate as well as competing Internationally on the USMC track and field team. Some of my sports accomplishments has included High-School Records, State Championships, Jr. Olympics Championships, National NCAA Jr. College Championships, International Military track championships, multiple 5K, 10k, several half marathons and marathons.

All this is attainable and is what I want to achieve for you by starting this individual written training plan developed specifically to help you achieve your specific goals. It includes: an initial one on one sit-down session; followed by a testing session, where you will do a workout designed to assess your current fitness level and form; information gathering on your own history of current conditioning, nutritional habits, and time available on a weekly basis to commit to implementing the training program; this is then combined with the information from the one on one session to develop your customized training plan; this written program will include at least two/three days a week of detailed workouts; you choose the length of the program, taking into account your goals; it is up to you to implement the plan, giving you the complete flexibility to determine when and where to train.
