More About Coach Steadman
I have over six years of overlapping experience as a head basketball coach. I was a coach for three years for a top 5 AAU travel team (SC Raptors Elite), three years at the middle school level, two years at the JV level, and three years at the Varsity level. I have coaching/ individual skill development experience with all ages, ranging from eight-year-old players to collegiate level players.
D-1 Scholarship-Athlete at the University of Ole Miss (SEC conference), High School Mcdonald’s All-American nominee, 2x All-State Team, 3x All-Region Team, and Region Player of the Year. I played Pro (FIBA) basketball throughout the continent of South American, averaging double figures.
For an individual workout session, you can expect a personal detailed player evaluation upon your first visit. After, I will develop a highly skilled workout designed specifically for the client to develop your personal weakness of the game. This workout will also focus on the development of individual moves and the counter options along with it.
Group sessions are designed with a weakly theme, whether it’s ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, rebounding, creating your own shot, moving without the ball, etc. I highly recommend my group sessions, which focus on developing game-like skills that are transitioned into a competitive game towards the end of the session. This is a very important aspect of the session, especially when learning a specific skill and being able to implement this skills into an actual game setting.
