More About Coach Slade

I have coached for 25 years.(Public and Private Schools along with Private Lessons) The Past 10 years I have coached at ESD, St Marks and I am currently at Cistercian. I have coached and worked privately with all ages (K-12). Preparing young athletes to compete at their highest level is my ultimate goal. In addition, I have a Physical Education degree and I am certified.

I played multiple sports in HS and was an All-State player in FB/BB. I was a 1st Team All State shooting guard and averaged over 22 points a game my junior/senior seasons in BB. In addition, I had a 90% free throw shooting percentage The Art of Shooting is my specialty in BB.

Focusing on proper mechanics for certain skills along with repetition. A typical practice will contain drills pertaining to dribbling, shooting, rebounding, defense and overall court awareness/ situations. The goal is to become a complete player. Special emphasis on certain skills pertaining to the player.
