As a Quality Control Analyst my role on the North Carolina football team was to break down film in order to find tendencies, weaknesses, and opportunities to exploit what the other team was doing. I also ran our self-scout to find the strengths and weak spots on our own team.

There are two things I know to be true about football. One is that it's a game of inches, the second is that games are often won between the ears. False steps matter, play recognition matters, being able to communicate with your teammates matters. I was never the fastest or most athletic guy on my team but the ability to have a high football IQ gave me the opportunity to play in college and eventually the NFL as well.

My plan with these virtual sessions is to help you get to the point that you know how to evaluate your opponent in order to stay a step ahead, and to help evaluate your performance so that you can make the most out of your own ability.
