More About Coach Sergio

I have coached teams of younger ages (5-11) but I have done private lessons with kids of ages (5-18) I am willing to work with any player regardless of circumstance. I am specifically trainined for attacking purposes, but, I can work at any position on the field. I have been coaching/ doing private lessons since I was 14 years old.

I am from Albuquerque New Mexico where I played 4 years of varsity soccer. I also earner district, metro and state player of the year for my junior and senior season. I also received Gatorade player of the year for 2015. I attend Seattle University and am on my Senior year. I was freshman player of the year for the WAC ( western athletic conference). Sophomore year I earned first team. Coming into my senior year I am ranked at #8 best player in the country according to Top drawer.

My trainings can vary from person to person depending on the type of experience the person has and how serious someone is. Sessions also vary depending on what we are trying to work on. Below I will define my schedule along with key words and elements.
Warm up: can contain the following. jog, stretch, slight passing, foot work, latter work, dynamic stretching.
Agility work: can contain. Fast moving and quick changing activities that will bring heart rate up. For example, hurdles with passing. Through agility we work on quickness, getting even more warmed up and speed.
Work out loads: what contain the following. Defending drills, passing drills (long, short, medium” finishing drills, foot work, dribbling drills ect.
Mostly the schedule I use is below: (1 hour - 1:15)
- warm up (10 min)
- agility work/ passing drills
- work out load 1
- work out load 2
- if time additional work
- cool down
