Sebastian Rojas

I am currently coaching teams, as well as individuals. I started coaching high school as a volunteer for both JV and Varsity. after one year; I then began to coach U19B in EDP for 3 years. For the past 4 years, Ive coached for NYRedbulls at all ages, from U5-U23+ Boys and Girls for different clubs around NJ and NYC.

While I was getting all this coaching experience, I was able to get my United States Soccer Federation D License and currently enrolled for USSF C license.

As a player I’ve won Tournaments like FC Delco, Bergen’s Best, EDP Classic and 3 State tournaments in Colombia where i was raised playing soccer. As a coach I’ve won NYC Randal’s Island Showcase, EDP Classic, EDP League and 2 Sofive Tournaments.

For the past 3 years I’ve competed as a coach in EDP, New Jersey State Cup and Regionals.

Something to expect from a typical session is the understanding of the game. I believe we play with our heads (Mentally) and we use our body as tool to execute the right decision. Depending on the age of the athlete I will consider more on what to teach. If the player is very young i like to teach him/her to love the game first, rather than if he/she was older then I’d focus more on what the player should improve for their level and position on the field.
