More About Coach Sean

I am an NSCA Certified Strength and Condition Coach, a bachelors of exercise and health science and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I've received my Functional Movement Screening certification, CPR, and CPR Instructor certifications. As a high school wrestler, I recorded well over 100 wins and placed 3rd in the State (MA). I've trained under two All-American Wrestlers. My expertise would be with the lighter weight classes, but I would be confident in training the heavier weight classes. I am also a proficient runner recording two region first place finishes in high school in both the 4x400 and 4x800.

My athletic achievements include:
Wrestling
- High school Division III Sectional Champion 125 pounds weight class in 2009 and 2010.
- Division III Third Place Finisher in 2010. 5th In-State Competition.
- Winner of the Bay State Games 2010 (119 pounds).

My training sessions will be broken into four sections; a warm up phase, a skills specific phase, a condition phase, and a cool down phase. The phases will be tailored to the individuals needs and goals but will always include elements of agility, speed, and injury prevention. I put great emphasis on proper movement patterns, good form, and repeatable, powerful technique.

However, Sean immediately reassured me that I could reach my goals and I that I would eventually accomplish them. Doubtfully, I took Sean’s advice and he took me under his wing as a client. Since the very beginning, Sean developed a personal trust with me. He made sure he knew exactly what my goals and objectives were and he not only led me to those goals, but introduced me to new ones as I kept improving. As Sean challenged me more, I began to get my confidence back, as my endurance and strength kept increasing, first week by week, and eventually, day by day. Even though I still have a lot of work to do and a long way to go to reach my more developed goals, I know that they won’t be impossible. I now choose a healthier outlet to stress with Sean’s advice and constant persistence. He holds me accountable without putting pressure on me, because he has seen how much I have grown and how much potential I have.
