More About Coach Scot

In 2007, I earned a bachelors degree in Physical Education. I have 15 years of experience coaching Varsity football. During that time, I spent five years as Strength and Conditioning Coach. I have also privately trained athletes from age 5 to college level with great results. In addition to my years working specifically with athletes, I have also spent 6 years training students with autism. More recently, I have spent the last 3 years coaching little league baseball. During my college years, I worked as a fitness instructor at a local YMCA. Currently, I teach PE and coach football at Bradford HS.

I played 4 years of little league baseball, High School football, and competed in racquetball tournaments. During my college education, I had to participate and teach a variety of team, individual, and lifetime sports.

My main area of focus while training athletes depends on the sport(s) they play. I believe in high intensity interval training. This type of training is conducive for most sports, and the intervals and drills depend on the sport the athlete participates in. I specialize in functional movements and speed development, while at the same time developing strength, power, and explosiveness..

WOW! What a difference a year makes! Michael, our son, has been training with Coach Scot 2 to 3 days a week. We started with Coach Scot to help Michael with his basic skills, coordination, and confidence. Since then, he has become much stronger, both physically and mentally. His speed and agility have increased tremendously. Michael looks forward to his sessions, especially since he sees the results of all the hard work that both he and Coach Scot have put in. At football camp/practice, he has impressed the coaches with his strength, endurance and agility. One of the school coaches approached my husband and said, "No one on the line can get past him! Look at him move! He is going to be good." Coach Scot has done wonders with our son. He has exceeded our expectations and is an outstanding coach. Coach Scot takes his time to explain why the drills are important and what they will do. He also stresses the importance of doing the exercises correctly. Coach Scot will work with you to accommodate your schedule. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal coach!

Coach Scot is a great coach. I have had 2 sessions with him so far and already see an improvement.

Coach Scot did a great job with our 8 yr. old Son. We signed our son up to improve his Football skills, especially at the quarterback position. Coach Scot made Us realize that there are certain training/exercises first necessary to build up to and perfect the skills/techniques required. He also made our Son realize that the proper skills/techniques are not achieved overnight, and that it takes patience and hard work to become the best. Some of the training our Son learned will benefit him in Football as well as other sports and life. Coach Scot's Profession and Career has allowed him to work with youth of all ages in all sports. Coach Scot has full access to an indoor training facility and has accommodated his schedule as much as possible to meet our busy lifestyle. Coach Scot is very personable, provides one-on-one training, and is very patient with his Clients. Regretfully, our Family and personal schedule is extremely crazy for the next few months, prohibiting Us from additional training during this period. If time allows, our goal would be to connect with Coach Scot again between now and Football season to perform additional training prior to the upcoming season. Good luck Scot and Thanks! - Parents of Client

My name is Michael Petronek and I am a rising senior at Allegheny College, where I study physics and previously participated in both football and baseball at the collegiate level. I have known Scott for over 3 and a half years as he has worked as my personal trainer to prepare for upcoming athletic endeavors. Working with Scott for the past 3 and a half years has been an incredible experience because of the excellent help that he has provided me. To begin with, Scott is always tremendously enthusiastic about what we are trying to do and he always provides a positive attitude that makes putting in the work significantly easier. He is extremely personable and one of the most encouraging people I have met, which makes it easy to do whatever it is that he is asking me to do. Along with his enthusiasm, Scott possesses and expertise of the human body and how the muscular system works which is extremely impressive. He always has a firm understand of the effects of each exercise on the body, where energy is going to be exerted, and how the body is going to react to each exercise. Conversely, due to his understanding he is able to put together exercise plans that can use a specific amount of energy and creates progress within specific muscle groups in order to produce the most efficient workouts as possible. Overall, working with Scott is a true blessing and I could not recommend a better man. His mixture of positivity, enthusiasm, and expertise has made for an overall excellent and efficient experience while working with him. Scott is superb at what he does and he has my full support.
