I am a 42 year old Personal Trainer and Nutrition expert, licensed, insured, certified, fully vaccinated with over 34 years of experience in the Fitness Industry. I am offering fitness training to help people achieve any fitness goals with very easy and affective workouts.
I SPECIALIZE IN: WEIGHT LOSS, HYPERTROPHY, NUTRITION, SPINE/KNEE REHAB AND OVERALL HEALTH AND FITNESS. I would like to help anyone who wants to: loose weight, gain strength, for skinny hard gainers I can help you build muscle mass. Also if you have a lower or upper spine injury or chronic condition, knee arthritis we can most likely rehab it and treat it naturally without any surgeries depending on the severity; surgery should always be a last resort anyways. I actually suffer from chronic conditions my-self and had to rehab these conditions in order to be and feel normal again so that I could live a normal life. I had a spine injury from lifting heavy weights in 2009 when I was competing with other trainers at the gym for a job. But these conditions started long time ago before I became a certified trainer. It started when I was an athlete in High School because the coaches did not teach athletes how to make our core stronger and provide us with proper training and made kids lift heavy weights unfortunately. Once I graduated High School I continued working and exercising with a weak core and lacking the knowledge. I used to also get advice from uncertified, uneducated, unlicensed people at the gym and my friends giving me wrong information before I got my personal training degrees in the 1990s and I injured my back by lifting heavy weights so bad that I could not even walk at times and I began to feel wear and tear in my lower back, elbows and knees. However I was able to rehab my spine and knees with very easy workouts back to perfection that concentrate on making the core stronger and circulating more blood flow to the joints thus promoting healing and recovery with time. These rehabs and work outs I learned them from my Father who is a Medical Doctor and by graduating from the best Personal Training Institute in the country. Now I am able to run again, walk and exercise like I used to when I was in High School. However if I miss a week of these rehab workouts the old injury pain starts to creep up again little by little due to the lack of blood flow to those injured areas that received the wear and tear. I learned my lesson the hard way and I want to give a friendly advice to everyone: Do not lift heavy weights, don't run or jog on the pavement or concrete, do not jump from any height that is higher than 3 feet and cherish your joints! Also remember we are not at the gym to compete with people unless you are a professional athlete who gets paid millions of $$$ dollars to make a living and take risks of getting injured. The idea here is to exercise and work out in order to stay healthy, look good and fit without injuries. You only have one body and you should preserve it and cherish it. Once any body part is injured it’s very difficult to heal and to rehab it back to normal, and most likely once injured it will never be the same again! So it’s better to avoid injuries at all costs. So the safest way to work out is with light weight and lots of reps. If you feel a lot of pressure or pain in your joints while lifting weights and cannot perform at least 12 reps per set on any exercise that weight is too heavy and you should lower the weight. I also recommend to stay away from deadlifts, sitting leg presses on the smith machines that you add plates to; instead do front and back squats and walking lunges with dumbbells with light weight and lots of reps. Once you feel burning or fatigue in that muscle group stop and rest for 1 minute between each set. For those who are trying to build muscle and strength you will still be able build muscle with light weights but without injuries to your joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and spine; and even if you do not get as big of muscles who cares? Are you getting paid millions of dollars $$ taking a risk of getting injured by lifting heavy weights? If you are not getting paid to build big muscles what is the point abusing your body? For those of you who do not believe me about lifting heavy weights it is not a question “If it’s going to happen”? It is a question “When it’s going to happen?” Many trainers and coaches do not know what they are doing or they just don't care about people because gyms pay them chump change. To a lot of these trainers clients are just a number due to the corporate greed and they have people doing wrong exercises that are not even fit for their level of fitness and they get these clients, athletes, people hurt. Some coaches and trainers who are training professional athletes for example they might push athletes too hard and get them injured in the process in order to win a championship. But us normal working people we are not competing for a championship so no point to lift heavy and intense. Your workouts should be fun and consistent throughout your life to achieve and keep results.
Another very important health fact is that our big muscle groups like legs, back, chest they act as big pumps that pump blood into our vital organs like heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, brain and etc, and if you don’t work out at least twice per week your organs do not get proper blood supply and begin to die and developing different illnesses over time. Muscles also protect our skeleton and our vital organs and supply our body with essential hormones and endorphins, so it’s very important to have as much muscle as you can naturally no matter what gender you are. Humans were created by Nature to hunt, gather, walk, run, pull, push, squat etc. Our body was not created to live a sedentary lifestyle which cause most of the illnesses.
Also if you ever heard of this saying “You are what you eat”? It is very important to follow proper diet to eat fruits and vegetables daily, do not eat meat every day, no dairy, no fried foods, no junk food, no sodas, very little liquor preferably wine if possible, no beer, drink at least 6 cups of water daily etc. Believe it or not but improper nutrition will affect every person in a different way depending on your age, blood type, genetics and etc. For example some people will develop cancer from eating junk over the years, some will develop chronic arthritis in their joints or gout, some will get heart attack, diabetes, stroke and etc. It is possible to reverse and prevent most illnesses and conditions in the early stages by just following a strict diet, exercising and getting enough sleep. Unfortunately our Healthcare is mostly about profit they do not really push exercise, diet and sleep on us when we go to the Doctor. The healthcare system also is not made to treat the cause but rather created to only or mostly treat your symptoms or offer you their favorite thing a “surgery” which again does not always treat the cause of the illness. It’s in their best interest to have the patients keep coming back for more treatments as a job security to make more money from you if they never treat the cause. Here is an example if the person has knee or ankle arthritis from eating junk all their life and that joint is polluted with junk and gunk it is possible to reverse the problem within a year without needing a surgery by just following a strict diet and exercise.
Another very essential part of life is to get at least 8 hours of sleep per day. If you do not get enough sleep you will not live long time and will develop illnesses faster. I think in my opinion the importance of exercise, diet and sleep falls in the following percentage:
Diet- 40%
Exercise- 30%
Sleep- 30%
