More About Coach Richie
I’ve coached players of every level (from youth to NBA) across the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. Over a 10-year span, I served as a college basketball coach throughout all NCAA levels, including 4 years as a NCAA DII Head Men’s Basketball Coach. As a coach, I’ve helped win a conference championship and competed in the NCAA Tournament. I am a 15-year member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, 10 years as a certified International Basketball Federation (FIBA) coach, and recent inductee into the Hoop Historians.
Currently, I serve as a college basketball analyst on the ESPN Family of Networks. I played collegiately at the University of Evansville (NCAA DI) and was selected to play for Slavonski Bröd in Croatia (did not play).
The key is continuing to focus on fundamentals while refining the strengths and improving the weaknesses of each individual client. While allowing each client to use their unique ability level, the goal is to perfect the fundamentals at game speed. Every great player at every level continues to find a way to get better in these areas.
