More About Coach Rachel
I coached for South Shore Select soccer in Massachusetts while I was in high school and at Boston University. I coached teams from U-10 to U-18 as well as week camps and training sessions. I coached at the recruitment camp at Boston University. I also volunteered with TOPS Soccer for years before I moved to Boston for college. I have done individual training sessions as well.
I received a scholarship to play soccer at Boston University. I was on the US National Teams for U-14 and U-18, as well as the Region 1 Teams and Massachusetts Olympic Development Program teams from U-10 to U-18. I was a two-time team captain at Boston University and received All-Conference honors.
I would start with a moving warm-up/stretching. I would then get into foot skill drills. For example, in and out of cone gates, juggling, non-dominant foot training, and technical moves training. Depending on the age and position, I would then move to defensive footwork/attacking drills. Again depending on age, I always like to end with some sort of competition/fun game! This part can be anything from a fun shooting game to going 1vs.1 with me to goal! I then would ask if there's any specific thing the player wants to do/work on.

Client Reviews
Travis (CoachUp client)
Coach Rachel has been amazing with Isabel! She is very engaging and a great role model. Isabel hasn't stopped practicing one of the moves she learned in the last session!
Marisa (CoachUp client)
Rachel did an outstanding job with our 10 year old daughter. She quickly established a strong connection, worked on both technical and tactical skills, and gave her tips on setting goals to have a stronger mindset for the season. Our daughter is excited to work more with Rachel and further her skills!
