More About Coach Pedro
I have experience coaching athletes of all ages, but my expertise is with youth players (10-17) years old. I'm currently the director of Futsala (futsal academy) in Charlotte. In addition, I recently graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a bachelor degree in Psychology with concentration in Sports Psychology.
I'm originally from Brazil, where I played soccer from 5 until 20 years old. I played professionally for Madureira Sport Club for one year before I move to U.S. I came to US with a full ride scholarship to join Queens University of Charlotte soccer program, where I earned many awards such as Queens Scholar Athlete of the year, SAC Scholar Athlete of the Year, All Regional First Team, and All Conference First Team.
The training sessions are one hour long and I divide the session into three sections of 20 minutes. My focus is to use my experience as a coach and player to contribute to the development of the players technical skills. All of my drills encourage players to think while doing it and it usually involves a lot of footwork.
