More About Coach Nikola

I have been coaching strength and conditioning for 10 years now. I've coached proffesional, collegiate, high school and youth athletes and still have this range of athletes training with me. I've worked at Cal State Northridge as and intern while getting my degree in Exercise Science before moving on to a private sector and working with all level athletes from various high schools and clubs. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist C.S.C.S. and National Sports Performance Association Speed and Agility Certified coach.

I played collegiate basketball at Los Angeles Pierce College for 2 years and 1 year at California State University Northridge as well as internationally in Serbia.

Depending on a goal of a session whether if its speed and agility work or strength weightroom work we will do a proper warm up to compliment the workout. Strength sessions range depending on the athletes age and training age and could be from basic movements and patterns and body weight work to high level weight lifting and explosive work. Speed and agility sessions are always focused on a certain aspect of movement and progressed in a manner from teaching drills to a more game like reactive and chaotic drills. No fancy stuff, only the main few things the athletes need to own to perform - Acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, multidirectional movement, and speed and conditioning work. All of these components are mostly reaction based to simulate the game environment. All the workout plans and programs are based on the athletes level and needs.
